Lis Wiehl works as an American lawyer and writer who was formerly a Fox News analyst.
She has been an adjunct professor of Law in New York Law School and was formerly an Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor and National Public Radio. She's appeared in The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs and Megyn Kelly, and the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima she attended West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in law from Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985), and an Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was previously the US Attorney. She was an NPR legal reporter. All Things Considered. She served as "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. Between 1995 and 2001, she served as an adjunct professor of law of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
