Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She advocates animal rights. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most acclaimed films. Growing up in a family of artists living in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. While working as a photographer's assistant then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought her fame worldwide in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she had been voted as the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers came out. MacGraw was married three occasions.
